Surely the song, Puerto Montt, by Los Iracundos deserves a mention on this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.185.144.124 (talk) 22:51, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

History and Neutrality

[edit]

I just can't believe, that about a 75% of the city's history refers to the events of March 4, 1969. The description of the events is even larger than in the spanish version (almost twice as large), eventhough here the rest of the city's history is really much sparser on information. I just can think, that someone, with clear political motivations, is trying to sell these events as the most important thing in the history of the city. The city doesn't deserve that. 87.162.84.194 (talk) 18:44, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Expanded history and it may need some checking, and certainly the massacre of Puerto Montt is an important event the the city's history because after this, the owner of the land decided to donate it and by doing that the city added more residential and an important commercial area (even nowadays), I am still looking for this source. But the details of this event it seems to be more appropriate to be in a dedicated page to it, but not doing it myself, yet, but if anyone want to take it that will be good.--SinglePlayer (talk) 16:23, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Section on economy contains a lot of buzzwords

[edit]

The section on the economy of Puerto Montt contains quite a few buzz words and is not in line with the standrad of a good neutral wikipedia article — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.37.70.69 (talk) 10:29, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see any buzzwords here, and am removing the template accordingly. Specific examples would be helpful if anyone disagrees. 121.98.124.75 (talk) 07:16, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
